April 21, 2018: During Grand Tech 2018 organized by the IEEE Computer Student Chapter of Hashemite University, Prof. Gheith Abandah delivered a keynote speech titled “Modern Artificial Intelligence.” In this speech, he gave an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). He summarized his experience with ML and described the emerging disruptive technologies that AI and ML brings. Prof. Abandah also answered the question why AI is succeeding now and summarized the disruptions that these technologies bring to our lives. Finally, he gave some advice how interested people can learn ML.
