Day 5: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani – The Day of the Enchanted Forest

TweetI woke up around 5 am, it was still dark outside, cold, and the warmth of the sleeping was way too enticing to let go of. Other than a distant rooster, and the snoring of a close by tired trekker, there wasn’t a sound to be heard. I felt that my breathing is too loud [...]

Day 1&2: Amman to Kathmandu – The day of anticipation & bad Korean food

TweetThe group is a bunch of strangers, could not be more diverse: a medical couple in their late 50s,  a 19  year old, a single mom, a cancer survivor, a soldier, a university professor, a vet, an art director, a software programmer, an accountant, a project manager (not me), a cardiologist, a communications guy, an [...]

Limits… Imaginary Or Real

one casual morning in the gym had me reconsider the majority of significant and important decisions of my life, and showed me that what I believe to be my limit is just a subliminal excuse that I chose to believe in without real boundary. What about you?

The Selfless Side of Selfishness…

TweetDo you just go on being so “selfish” in fulfilling something that you know is right, but does not seem to be in anybody’s interest? Or you ignore all the needs and wants that are stirring inside of you for the sake of being what you’re expected to be for other’s sake? But isn’t being [...]

I don’t need a Shrink… I’ll have a best friend please!

I think that people are critical. The root cause of the depressed society is the critical society itself. We love to criticize, we love to tell you why you’re wrong (it doesn’t mean we’re right, or we even know what right is) but we sure know what is wrong, and it is what you do or what you say. We started thinking that we will be attacked for what we think, let alone what we say or do, so we decide to keep it in.

Give up… Give in… or just let go!

“Giving up doesn’t always mean you’re weak, sometimes it just means you’re strong enough to let go”.

One way or the other!

TweetOne of the things that I don’t understand, is why do people have to absolutely contradict one another with extremes! Rather than point out the difference, which could be slight or major! If someone is pro something, then s/he is so passionate in defending it that you believe his life depends on it, uses such [...]
